How your prepaid Visa card from mywonga works

easy to load and top up
Loading and reloading your prepaid Visa card account with money is easy; you can have your wages, benefits or loans transferred directly into your account or load your card with cash at a PayPoint outlet.

Bank transfer and standing order

If you would like to transfer money from another account or have your wages, benefits or a loan paid into your account you will need to provide the following details to your employer or the company / person transferring the money:

Topping up via bank transfer is free.

Paypoint

To load / top-up your account with cash at a PayPoint location, please take your card to any PayPoint retailer and hand it over along with the money you want to put on it. The retailer will swipe the card through their terminal and load your card with the funds. The cash will be on your card immediately.

If you prefer, you can print out your PayPoint top-up slip (with barcode) from within your online account, take it to a PayPoint retailer and give them the slip with your cash and the funds will be in your account within 24-36 hours. You can give the PayPoint top-up slip to anyone as it is unique to you and can only be used to deposit money into your account.

You can use your card worldwide, at over 24 million merchants that accept VISA and at more than one million ATMs. Great for shopping both in store and online plus you can access your money when you need it, 24/7, 365 days a year.

You can also apply for an additional card if you want to share money with a friend or family member – great for those who send money to family abroad on a regular basis or for parents supporting their children at university.

easy to manage

Your prepaid Visa card comes with a secure online account to make managing your money easy. Log in to your account to view and print statements, pay your bills, set up standing orders, transfer money to other accounts and order additional cards.
Our friendly customer services team is on hand for account support from 8.30am– 6pm Monday to Friday, and 8.30am-5pm on Saturday. And, if you like to monitor your money on the move, you can opt to receive transaction updates by SMS (10p per text).

for your peace of mind

You can use your prepaid Visa card with confidence as it comes with CHIP and Pin security and has a unique account number and sort code. If you lose your card you can inform us from the ‘My Cards’ section on your e-account or telephone the lost and stolen line which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

As your prepaid Visa card offers no credit or overdraft facility, you can only spend what you load. It does not pay interest and direct debit payments cannot be made from the account.

Please note that credEcardplus prepaid card is an electronic money product and although it is a product regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, it is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. We ensure that any funds received by you are held in a segregated account so that in the unlikely event that Contis Financial Services Ltd becomes insolvent your funds will be protected against claims made by creditors.
